Mossberg 590M Features The Mossberg 590M replaces the traditional tube magazine with a detachable box magazine allowing the shooter to carry preloaded 10-round magazines and execute a fast reload under stress rather than feeding shells one at a time. The steel receiver and barrel share a tungsten gray Cerakote finish that resists corrosion and wear across repeated duty use and range sessions. Ambidextrous controls put the safety and other manipulation points within reach for both left and right-handed operators an important feature for agencies and teams issuing a shared duty shotgun. The receiver arrives drilled and tapped giving the shooter a straightforward path to mounting an optic without additional gunsmithing. The Magpul SGA stock brings adjustable length of pull and comb height to the 590 platform letting the shooter dial in the fit for their body and gear setup and its safety orange finish makes the shotgun instantly identifiable as a training or duty tool. At 7 pounds the shotgun remains maneuverable in tight spaces while carrying enough heft to manage recoil across a 2.75 chamber. The 1:36 twist barrel is built for slug and buckshot performance at defensive ranges rather than long-range patterning. The 590M gives professional and security-focused shooters a magazine-fed pump shotgun built on Mossberg s proven 590 foundation.
