Mossberg Silver Reserve Eventide Features The Mossberg Silver Reserve Eventide uses a corrosion-resistant chrome-lined barrel and chamber to withstand repeated use in wet field conditions extending the life of the bore between cleanings and keeping maintenance simple after a muddy day afield. Shell extractors clear spent hulls quickly for faster reloads between coveys or clay stations and the tang-mounted safety doubles as a barrel selector for intuitive one-hand operation between the two barrels. A fiber optic front sight helps shooters acquire fast-moving targets in variable light while dual locking lugs keep the action tight and the lockup solid shot after shot. Together these elements make the Eventide a dependable field-ready over/under suited equally to a morning hunt or an afternoon on the clays course. The fixed black synthetic stock offers a durable low-maintenance alternative to a traditional wood stock standing up to rain brush and rough handling without any concern for scratched or swollen finish. A 5-piece choke set including full modified and improved cylinder options lets shooters tune their pattern for everything from close-flushing upland birds to longer crossing shots on the clays range. The matte black finish on the barrel and logo-engraved receiver resists glare in bright field conditions while giving the shotgun a clean purpose-built look that wears well over seasons of use. At 6.5 lbs and a 14.5 length of pull the Eventide balances comfortably for a full day in the field and its double-barrel simplicity makes it an easy shotgun to learn maintain and trust in the field or on the clays line.
