HM Defense RaiderM Features The HM Defense RaiderM is built around a match-grade Monobloc barrel with an integrally machined gas block a design that improves consistency by eliminating a separate gas block joint. The chrome moly steel barrel is threaded 1/2x28 and fitted with a muzzle brake to help manage recoil and muzzle rise during rapid strings of fire. A Black Cerakote finish provides strong resistance to wear and corrosion while the 1:8 twist rate stabilizes a broad range of 5.56 bullet weights for versatile ammunition selection. Forged aluminum upper and lower receivers with a black hardcoat anodized finish deliver the strength and durability expected of a serious AR-pattern build. The M16 bolt carrier group complete with charging handle and buffer tube assembly cycles reliably to established mil-spec tolerances. A free-floating Picatinny top rail runs the length of the receiver for mounting an optic and the M-LOK handguard provides ample space for lights foregrips and other accessories the shooter needs. The custom trigger guard and Monobloc ejection port cover add a refined touch beyond a typical AR build and the pistol ships complete with a magazine ready to shoot. At just over 5 lbs the RaiderM s 12.5 barrel offers a bit more velocity and effective range than shorter AR pistols while remaining compact enough for close-quarters use. For shooters who want extended reach without stepping up to a full rifle the RaiderM strikes a strong balance.
