Bond Arms Old Glory Features The Bond Arms Old Glory uses a break open action that allows quick loading and unloading of its two round capacity chambered for .45 Colt or .410 gauge shells up to 2.5 inches giving the shooter a choice between a powerful revolver cartridge and dense shotshell patterning from the same compact frame. A patented locking lever keeps the barrel securely closed during firing while a rebounding hammer and crossbolt safety add layers of protection against accidental discharge for safer pocket or ankle carry. The spring loaded extractor helps clear spent cases quickly during reloads which matters in a self defense scenario where a fast follow up shot can matter. Built around this reliable action the Old Glory delivers the compact dependable performance Bond Arms derringers are known for backed by the same rugged build quality that has made the brand a trusted name in backup handguns. Beyond its mechanics the Old Glory stands out with a custom engraved American flag finish on its matte stainless steel receiver and steel frame a treatment that turns a working defensive pistol into a piece worth displaying as well as carrying. The American flag wood grips carry the patriotic theme through to the handling surfaces giving the pistol a commemorative look while remaining fully functional and comfortable in hand. Fixed sights keep the profile snag free for pocket or ankle carry so the Old Glory draws smoothly when it matters most. At just 20 ounces the Old Glory is light enough for all day carry as a backup or primary defensive handgun making it a practical choice for concealed carry as well as a proud display of American heritage.
