Barnes Bullets VOR-TX Features The Barnes VOR-TX 28 Nosler load is built around the all-copper TSX bullet a design engineered from the ground up specifically for this cartridge rather than adapted from an existing bullet line. Barnes intentionally chose a non-tipped TSX profile to maximize bullet weight at 162 grains while maintaining reliable stabilization through the SAAMI-standard 1:9 twist rate a decision that pays off in consistent accuracy at long range. The bullet leaves the muzzle at 3150 fps and carries 3570 ft-lbs of energy giving hunters a flat trajectory and substantial knockdown power on game at extended distances. This combination of velocity and bullet construction makes the load well suited to open-country hunting where shots often stretch beyond typical ranges. Because the TSX is constructed entirely from copper rather than a lead core it delivers double-diameter expansion and exceptional weight retention on impact translating to deep reliable penetration even on tougher game animals. This all-copper design also avoids the fragmentation issues sometimes seen with traditional lead-core bullets keeping more energy transfer concentrated for devastating terminal performance. Each box contains 20 rounds giving hunters enough ammunition for sighting in and a full season afield. For 28 Nosler shooters who want dependable accuracy paired with premium terminal performance the Barnes VOR-TX load is a proven long-range hunting choice.
