evo.com | Blizzard Skis > The waist width is down 3mm from last season's widest Black Pearl, and the entire ski has been re-designed from the base up, but the strategy is the same. The Blizzard Black Pearl 94 Skis are still designed for the skier who values stability, edge-hold, and smoothness. Sporting a fresh new W.S.D. Trueblend core of Poplar and Beech woods and a new Titanal configuration on top, the new Black Pearl 94 provides absolute confidence and adds a bit of precision and pop underfoot. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Sintered Graphite Base Sandwich Compound Sidewall All Blizzard skis with the exception of some junior skis are built with ABS or Phenol sidewalls for superior performance (stability, power transmission, handling) and durability. Rocker Camber Rocker Ski profile with rocker at the tip and tail, camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski even easier to handle and increases flotation on powder snow. The camber guarantees great grip on packed snow. Two-Piece W.S.D. Titanal Laminate for Grip and Stability No longer a single sheet of Titanal, the 2025 Black Pearl uses a two-piece laminate with a sheet of fiberglass in between the layers. The upper layer of metal resembles the shape of the FluxForm Titanal layer in the Sheeva skis and the lower layer fills in the gap in the center. This all-new design for the proven Squire 11 gets modern shaping at the toe with an Anti-Ice Rail protective plate so you can safely scrape your boot sole on it without breaking the DIN window. With fresh colorways and improved step-in, the classic solution for women and lighter skiers is back, and it's better than ever. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Stand Height 24 mm Anti Ice Rail Use the metal rail to scratch off ice and snow below your boot sole. Hollow Linkage 2 Heel Improved step-in performance: 30% less step-in force + easier entry with GripWalk boots.
