Backcountry lines demand gear that holds up when conditions turn serious, and the Aluminum Cartridge from ARVA is built for exactly that moment. Strapped into a Reactor trigger handle, it rides quietly in a pack through skin tracks and rocky traverses, ready the instant a slope calls for backup. There is a particular kind of confidence that comes from knowing the equipment on your back can withstand the jostle of ski straps, sled hauls, and awkward scrambles without losing integrity. That confidence comes down to construction. Built from high strength aluminum, the cartridge is engineered to hold the compressed air pressure needed to inflate an airbag in a critical moment, while standing up to the daily wear of mountain travel. Refillable at ARVA centers and select SCUBA or paintball shops, it keeps a touring season moving without long turnaround times between trips. What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I swapped in the Aluminum Cartridge before a multi day tour in some seriously exposed terrain, and it handled every bump and drop in my pack without a dent. Refilling it at a local shop afterward took minutes, so I was ready for the next trip fast."
