What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I have been grabbing the Wander 25L Backpack for short hiking days, and everyday carry in equal measure, and the airflow backpanel keeps things noticeably cooler on warm days compared to most packs in this size range. The fleece-lined sunglasses pocket is one of those details that sounds small until you stop dropping your lenses loose at the bottom of the main compartment, and the 600D ripstop has held up to the kind of daily roughhousing that sends lesser fabrics to the donation pile early."Some days start with a commute and end on a trail, and the bag in the middle needs to handle both without feeling like a compromise either way. The Dakine Wander 25L Backpack was built for exactly that kind of day, offering enough organization and protection for a full load of everyday gear while doubling as a capable hiking pack when the trail calls. The 600D ripstop polyester construction holds up to abrasion and resists tears through daily use, and the main compartment opens wide enough to pack and unpack without digging. A neoprene laptop sleeve cushions devices securely inside, and a fleece-lined internal pocket keeps sunglasses scratch-free when they are not on your face. Mesh side pockets keep water and snacks accessible on the move, side compression straps cinch the load tight on the trail, and the ergonomic airflow backpanel and shoulder straps keep things breathable on warm days, whether you are walking to class or climbing a ridge.
