Caleb is an U.S. Army veteran and a graduate of United States Military Academy at West Point (USMA). After serving his country for nearly a decade, he was injured in the line of duty, an injury that has permanently affected his mobility. Caleb&';s goal was to compete in the Olympics through the Army&';s World Class Athlete program, but his injury sidelined those dreams. Given his new reality, Caleb turned to pursuing a new dream of competing in the Paralympics with hopes to inspire other disabled veterans to cope with their circumstances. In 2021 Caleb became the first recumbent trike athlete ever to finish LoToJa, and he&';s got his sights set on accomplishing this feat for the Race Across the West in 2022.
