Hornady Custom Rifle Features Hornady Custom Rifle ammunition in 6mm ARC is loaded with the 90 grain SST bullet delivering 2950 fps and 1739 ft-lbs of muzzle energy in a cartridge optimized for modern sporting rifles. The SST projectile features Hornady s pioneering secant ogive profile which creates the ideal combination of high ballistic coefficient reduced bearing surface and minimal drag for flatter shooting at hunting distances. Expansion and penetration are carefully balanced through the SST s polymer tip and InterLock band which locks the core and jacket together under impact to prevent premature separation and ensure reliable terminal performance. For hunters pursuing deer hogs or similarly sized game from a 6mm ARC platform Custom Rifle delivers the accuracy and downrange energy needed for clean ethical shots. Every round of Hornady Custom Rifle is assembled with premium brass cases and selected powders chosen to maximize velocity consistency and pressure uniformity from lot to lot. The 6mm ARC chambering makes Custom an outstanding choice for AR-15 platform rifles that demand reliable feeding and consistent accuracy at field ranges. Hornady s meticulous quality control throughout the manufacturing process ensures that each of the 20 rounds in the box will perform to the same standard as the last giving hunters confidence when it counts most.
