"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I've worn the Westerly Blanket Shirt as my go to layer for cool mornings around the property all season, and the lofty cotton twill only gets cozier the more I wear it. The pearl snap closures make it quick to throw on or shake off as the temperature shifts.""A good layer earns its place in rotation slowly, worn over coffee on a cool morning, thrown over a tee when the evening air turns, and the Westerly Blanket Shirt is built to become exactly that kind of staple. At Backcountry, we appreciate a shirt that doesn't try too hard, and this one leans into easy, lived in comfort with a soft, lofty organic cotton twill that feels like a favorite blanket from the very first wear. It's the layer you grab without thinking, because it always feels right. Western inspired details give it character without overdoing it. Pearl snap closures and corozo buttons gathered from the forest floor add a natural, classic touch, while traditional yoke detailing and chest pockets with button flaps round out the look. Built from 100% organic cotton, it's a shirt made to be worn for years, not seasons."
