The Howa 1500 Hogue Bolt-Action Centerfire Rifle is built to handle rugged terrain and harsh weather, making it perfect for hunting and target shooting alike. The pillar-bedded Hogue overmolded stock provides an easy grip along with ergonomic comfort. This hunting rifle has a cold hammer-forged barrel along with a steel forged bolt and receiver, plus the Hogue recoil pad sucks up felt recoil so it's a pleasure to shoot. The 1500 operates with a dual lug, push-feed bolt design, and the 2-stage Howa Actuator Controlled Trigger (HACT) trigger offers a short, crisp release for maximum accuracy potential.
