Ruger American Features The Ruger American rifle uses a smooth bolt-action system that supports consistent cycling and dependable accuracy with common 22 WMR loads. Its 16 threaded barrel allows the use of muzzle devices while the BX-15 magazine provides a higher-capacity option for extended shooting. These characteristics make the 22 WMR bolt-action rifle well suited for small-game hunting pest management and routine field work. The synthetic high-comb stock provides a stable cheek weld for scoped use and the alloy-steel receiver with Picatinny rail makes mounting optics straightforward. The Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger offers a 3-5 lb pull range helping maintain controlled predictable shot placement. Its lightweight construction threaded barrel and straightforward ergonomics support reliable performance in a variety of outdoor conditions.
