Redding Reloading 327 Federal Magnum Sizing Die Steel Small. A resizing die or resizing die is a must because it ensures that the ammunition you consume has a uniform size and weight. A resizing die (or resizing dies) holds the ammunition in a press that has been collated using standard sized dies. Sometimes it may be necessary to remove the case from the die or move it to another stage in the process. There are times however when a case must remain in the die and this is where a resizing die comes in handy. A standard resizing die is often needed for each caliber and size. Redding offers three different styles of resizing dies: The Full Length Sizer the Short Length Sizer and the Ultra Fine Sizer. All dies have a pilot and stop collar and are made of steel.
