By replacing the threaded ring and both ratchets in any compatible Ratchet DEG freehub, the DF kit adds three selectable degrees of hub free rotation - 0deg, 10deg, or 20deg - to absorb pedal kickback before it ever reaches your cranks. The result is more natural trail feedback, better suspension performance, and a drivetrain that stays out of your way when the terrain gets rough.
