What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"A friend of mine wears the Cool Down Crew Solid Long-Sleeve Top under her fleece on cold mornings and swears the weight is exactly right, warm enough without ever feeling bulky. She's mentioned more than once that the snap placket makes layering it on and off simple when the temperature swings midday."Some mornings don't commit to a temperature, cold at the trailhead, warmer by the time the sun clears the ridgeline, and the Cool Down Crew Solid Long-Sleeve Top is built for exactly that kind of uncertainty. Soft cotton keeps it comfortable against skin whether it's the only layer or tucked under a fleece for the first hour outside. The henley placket snaps open for a little extra airflow once things warm up, and the side slit hem keeps the fit easy rather than restrictive. It's a top that adjusts to the day instead of asking the day to adjust to it.
