Its low-profile locking mechanism delivers excellent strength and stability while the ventilated design helps disperse heat and run cooler than many close-to-the-barrel rail systems. The slim, lightweight aluminum construction provides comfortable handling and flexible accessory placement with included detachable rail sections and mounting hardware. This rail is designed to work with a standard AR-15/M16 barrel nut (barrel nut not included) and is not compatible with the TRX barrel nut or wrench.
