Though originally designed for long range target shooting, the 6.5 Creedmoor has quickly earned a reputation as a highly effective hunting caliber. Lapua's 6.5 Creedmoor factory-loaded cartridges now feature the addition of the 6.5 mm 10.1 g / 155 grain Soft Point MEGA projectile. Renowned for its exceptional accuracy, nearly on par with bench rest bullets, this hunting bullet has long been a favorite for moose hunting in the Nordic countries. The MEGA bullet's reliable locking mechanism ensures the jacket and core remain securely together, even upon impact with hard bone. With the combination of the 6.5 Creedmoor's soft recoil and outstanding range performance, along with Lapua's top-quality components, this cartridge is poised to become a preferred choice for hunting red deer, fallow deer and white-tailed deer.
