The Berger VLD Target Rifle Bullet is one of the flattest shooting rifle bullets available today. Known for its superior performance, the VLD Target Rifle Bullet features a secant ogive design, which reduces drag as the bullet travels toward the target. This reduction in drag is what allows the VLD to shoot flatter, experience less wind-drift and retain higher velocity than other bullets. A common loading technique for VLD bullets is to touch the rifling for single-shot applications, though some rifles may prefer a jump of up to .150 inches from the rifling. Highly popular in competitive long-range shooting, Berger VLD Target Rifle Bullets are built with the consistently precise J4 Precision Rifle Bullet jacket, a choice favored by custom rifle bullet makers for its quality and accuracy.
