Dead Air's Sierra-5: Reduced Sound and Flash Signature for Tactical OperationsThe Dead Air Sierra-5 suppressor is a newly designed suppressor that is intended for professional use. It is built to withstand hard use and is rated for full-auto. One of the key features of the Sierra-5 suppressor is its balance of overall sound and flash reduction. It is designed to minimize both the sound and flash signature, while still maintaining a compact profile with minimal weight. The suppressor's construction is ultra-durable and fully welded. The outer tube is made from premium stainless steel and features knurling to provide a strong grip for securing and removing the suppressor, or for use with heat-protective wraps. The interior of the Sierra-5 features all Stellite baffles with full penetration laser welding, creating a robust monolithic core structure that is then welded to the outer tube for additional strength and durability. The Sierra-5 suppressor provides a low blowback, short-pressure impulse, which adds to its effectiveness. The suppressor also features a HUB socket, which allows for user configuration to specific needs. Additionally, a small hole is drilled through the blast chamber, making it possible to pin and weld your adapter or insert to the suppressor. Finally, the Sierra-5 suppressor ships with either a Xeno mount or a KeyMo mount. These mounts ensure that the suppressor is securely attached to the firearm and can be quickly and easily removed when needed. Overall, the Sierra-5 suppressor is a top-of-the-line product that delivers excellent performance and durability for professional use.
