The Colt Custom Carry Government Limited Pistol is a premium, single-action semi-automatic pistol chambered in .45 ACP, hand-fitted and assembled by Master Gunsmiths in the Colt Custom Shop for practical defensive carry and tactical training. This firearm incorporates a 5-inch stainless steel National Match barrel and features a rugged steel receiver and slide treated with an elite, non-reflective Smoked Grey IonBond (Decobond™) coating for exceptional corrosion resistance and reduced surface friction. Operating on Colt’s drop-safe Series 80 firing pin safety system, the pistol undergoes extensive hand-fitting to ensure smooth mechanical cycling and an exceptionally crisp single-action trigger break. The defensive layout is heavily upgraded with premium Stan Chen Custom components, including a Gen2 Magwell for fluid reloading, a custom blended beavertail grip safety, and a full custom rear sight paired with a matching night sight front post. Secure handling is reinforced by aggressively textured Custom Shop G10 grip panels, and the weapon feeds from a single-stack magazine with an 8-round capacity, bringing its total carry configuration to 8+1.
