Because it is tailored specifically to the DeltaPoint Pro footprint, it provides a rugged and repeatable mounting surface while allowing rapid transitions to a secondary sighting solution in tactical or competitive shooting scenarios. The final effective centerline height of the reflex optic will depend on the centerline of the host Super Precision mount plus the height of the installed DeltaPoint Pro optic, as Geissele does not publish a fixed height for this cap mount alone.
