There's a real gap between a handguard that's genuinely rigid and one that's actually affordable, and most rails on the market only manage one or the other. The Geissele ALG EMR V3-X 15" Black Handguard closes that gap, bringing Geissele's own engineering into ALG Defense's budget-friendly lineup without watering down what actually matters. A full-length M1913 picatinny rail runs across the top at 12 o'clock, machined tight enough that a front sight, laser, or IR illuminator mounts without any play. Below it, M-LOK slots line the 2, 4, 6, 8, and 10 o'clock positions, which in practice just means you can put a light or grip wherever it actually needs to go instead of wherever there happens to be room. That's the whole point of this ALG EMR V3X system: fewer compromises on placement. Underneath the black hardcoat anodized finish sits 6061-T6 aluminum, machined into a free-float design that measures 15" overall, with a 1.46" inner diameter and 1.75" outer diameter. Weight comes in around 1.37 lb, light enough to keep a rifle-length build from feeling front-heavy but still stiff enough to hold zero when things get rough. One heads-up before you order: if this is your first Geissele ALG rail, you'll need a barrel nut wrench too, since it's not included and it's the one tool you can't improvise your way around. Whether you're building from scratch or replacing a handguard that's held you back, this Geissele Handguard gets you Super Modular-level thinking without the Super Modular price tag.
