Geissele’s Super Precision 34mm Hyper Extended Scope Mount was designed for use on AR-type uppers and delivers one of the most secure mounts available. The mounding surface takes up 7 picatinny sections, and features 4 shear lugs with 2 nut and bolt combinations. Each of the nut and bolt combinations provide a clamping force of 1400 pounds, ensuring a steadfast hold even under heavy recoil. To ensure the best possible fit and best possible return to zero, each mount is milled out of a single piece of high-strength 7075-T6 aluminum. This method allows ribs and pockets to be added for enhanced strength and rigidity, as well as lining up the bore caps to each other. This method also ensures the user can apply the correct torque without accidently damaging the body of the scope.
