"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I like this helmet for kids because it brings a lot of the same safety tech found in adult helmets into a smaller package. The fit system makes it easy to dial in quickly, which is key when you're gearing up kids before a day on the mountain.""When kids head out onto the mountain, the right helmet helps them focus on fun instead of fussing with gear. The Pret Moxie MIPS Helmet delivers the same thoughtful design and protective technology found in Pret’s adult helmets, sized specifically for younger riders. At the core of the Moxie is the MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System), designed to reduce rotational forces during angled impacts. Combined with ACT in-mold multi-shell construction and optimized EPS foam density, the helmet provides reliable protection while maintaining a lightweight feel that kids will actually want to wear. Pret’s Ripcord360 fit system wraps comfortably around the entire head, eliminating pressure points and creating a secure fit that adapts as kids grow. A simple pull or twist adjustment makes it easy to dial in the fit quickly, even with gloves on. Level 1 ventilation uses always-open airflow channels to keep young riders comfortable during active days on the hill. Inside the helmet, HALEO anti-odor EPS foam and an odor-fighting liner help maintain freshness over time. With seamless goggle integration, audio-ready ear covers, and a lightweight build, the Moxie brings high-level protection and comfort together in a helmet designed for the next generation of skiers and snowboarders."
