"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: ""I wear the Excursion Mitts for everything from frigid lift days to backcountry tours. The GORE-TEX Active membrane breathes well even when I’m hiking, and the wool lining keeps my hands cozy no matter the temp. Add the PrimaLoft Gold insulation and goat leather palm, and you’ve got a mitten that’s bomber and comfortable.""When bitter wind and deep storms roll in, the Dakine Excursion GORE-TEX Mitt keeps our hands warm, dry, and focused on the ride. These mitts are a winter essential, combining breathable GORE-TEX protection with Gore Active technology to keep moisture out while letting sweat escape—ideal for long days on the skin track or high-output resort laps. Inside, Primaloft Gold insulation and a plush wool blend lining offer serious warmth without sacrificing dexterity or comfort. The goat leather palm and 4-way stretch shell add both durability and flexibility, while the one-hand cinch cuff keeps snow sealed out with ease. From freezing chairlifts to powder bootpacks, this mitt holds strong through it all."
