"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying:""I grabbed the Essentials 26L Backpack for a stretch of back-to-back days that mixed work and outdoor time, and it held up to everything I threw at it. The fleece-lined eyewear pocket kept my sunglasses scratch-free through some rough handling, and the removable insulated cooler bag meant I never had to choose between carrying lunch and carrying gear.""The best everyday bag is the one that quietly handles everything without drawing attention to itself. The Dakine Essentials 26L Backpack is built around that idea, offering enough organization and thoughtful features to cover a full day of school, work, or weekend activity without ever feeling like too much or too little. The 26-liter main compartment gives you real room to work with, while a padded laptop sleeve and reinforced bottom panel keep your electronics protected from the inevitable bumps of daily carry. A fleece-lined eyewear pocket keeps sunglasses scratch-free, and the removable insulated cooler bag is the kind of detail that sounds small until you actually need it on a warm afternoon. Multiple external pockets keep the rest of your essentials organized and accessible without digging. Built from 100% recycled polyester or nylon with a water-repellent finish and Bluesign approval throughout, the Essentials 26L Backpack is a bag that does right by your gear and the planet at the same time."
