Giro Insurgent Spherical Helmet Proven at Rampage, and ready for anything. From Red Bull Rampage to the Enduro World Series, the Giro Insurgent Spherical is the full-face of choice for the world's fastest gravity riders - and now it's lighter, cooler, and more protective than ever. At 1, 040 grams in size M/L, the Insurgent is 200 grams lighter than the Disciple Mips it replaces, while delivering cooling power 50% more efficient thanks to precisely engineered front intake vents and maximized rear exhaust channels. Spherical Technology(TM) powered by Mips(R) uses dual-density EPP and EPS foam layers in a ball-and-socket design that redirects rotational impact forces without the hard plastic slip-planes against your skin. A patent-pending Flex Gasket along the lower edge, breakaway visor bolts, and directional snap cheek pads round out a helmet built to protect in every scenario. Features Spherical Technology powered by Mips(R) uses a ball-and-socket design with dual-density EPP and EPS foam liners to redirect rotational impact forces away from the brain, while eliminating contact with hard plastic or slip-planes against the skin50% more cooling efficient than the Disciple Mips Giro engineers optimized front intake vent placement and shape to maximize cool air flowing over the rider's head Maximized rear exhaust vents with Wind Tunnel channeling provide a clear escape route for hot air at the back of the helmet Patent-pending Flex Gasket along the lower edge of the helmet is designed to reduce the role the helmet can play in certain collarbone impacts Roc Loc(R) Air DH Fit System suspends the helmet slightly off the skull for direct airflow over the head, with one-handed fore-aft tilt and tension adjustment Breakaway visor bolts with integrated Allen key receiver allow tool-free removal and replacement in case of a crash Directional snap cheek pad system allows emergency pad removal without disturbing head and neck position Stealth camera mount - the central visor bolt hole doubles as an ideal POV action camera mounting point IONIC+(R) padding uses pure silver for permanent, natural odor protection Lightweight at 1, 040g in size M/L - 200 grams lighter than the Disciple Mips SPECIFICATIONSWeight1, 040g (Size M/L)Fit System Roc Loc(R) Air DHMIPSSpherical Technology powered by Mips(R)Safety Certifications CE EN 1078Material Composition40% Fiberglass Shell, 13% Nylon, 12% EPS, 12% PU, 10% PVC, 8% EPP, 3% Polyester, 2% Metal Intended Use Enduro, Downhill, Freeride Sizing Size XS/SM/LXL/2XLHead Circumference (in)20. 1 - 22. 4"22. 4 - 24. 8"24. 8 - 27. 2"Head Circumference (cm)51 - 57cm57 - 63cm63 - 69cm | Giro | Insurgent Spherical Gbl Helmet Men's | Size Extra Large/xx Large In White | Nylon
