What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've put the Cosmic SL 65 Disc through long flat centuries and a handful of fondos with serious crosswind exposure, and the wider rim profile genuinely smooths out the handling in sketchy conditions compared to narrower deep section wheels I've ridden. The Infinity hub is whisper quiet under load and the acceleration out of corners feels immediate every time."The road opens up ahead and the pace climbs without a fight-that is what the Mavic Cosmic SL 65 Disc was built for. A 65mm deep carbon rim slices through air resistance on flat terrain, while the 23mm internal width keeps the tire profile wide and stable for predictable handling even when crosswinds push back. Mavic's Aero Wide Rim technology smooths the transition between rim and tire, cutting the micro-turbulence that costs speed on open roads. The Infinity hub design keeps things quiet and efficient, with non-contact spoke lacing that eliminates the creaking and noise that can show up under hard efforts on lesser wheels. Matched front and rear spoke lengths simplify any maintenance that does come up, and QRM Auto sealed cartridge bearings maintain their preload automatically so the spin stays consistent deep into a season of hard riding. UST Tubeless Ready construction means lower pressures, better traction, and fewer interruptions on the road.
