What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've been riding the Ambush 3 on long, hot trail days and the ventilation is genuinely noticeable. The AirCage and 4D Cooling system keep airflow moving in a way most helmets just don't. Getting the fit dialed and getting it on and off is so easy. I don't think about it anymore."Long climbs have a way of separating good gear from great gear, and the Specialized Ambush 3 makes its case on every sweaty push to the top. When the trail pitches up and the sun is out, the AirCage structure and 4D Cooling system work together to keep air moving through the helmet continuously, so the heat you're generating actually has somewhere to go. Getting the fit right takes seconds thanks to the BOA Fit System featuring FS1, which wraps 360 degrees around the head with micro-adjustable precision. A FIDLOCK magnetic buckle clips and releases without fumbling, integrated eyewear storage keeps your sunglasses secure when the trail drops into the trees, and the adjustable breakaway visor manages light and brush without getting in the way. The Ambush 3 earns a Virginia Tech 5-Star rating and integrates Mips Air Node Pro, so the protection underneath all that airflow is as serious as the riding that demands it.
