What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"These quickly became my go-to flat-pedal shoes for mixed terrain. The dual-compound sole grips well when the trail gets choppy, and the chevron lugs make hike-a-bike sections surprisingly secure. They're breathable, comfortable, and sturdy enough for long days outside."Built for long trail networks, rocky transitions, and the unpredictable rhythm of singletrack exploration, the Canyon Mountain Bike Shoes give flat-pedal riders a dependable platform on and off the bike. The breathable mesh upper keeps airflow steady during hot climbs, while the lace-up closure creates a familiar, dialed-in fit that stays comfortable through hours of pedaling and spur-of-the-moment detours. Underfoot, the dual-compound outsole brings purpose to every section of the ride: softer rubber at the ball of the foot grips pedals through rough stretches, while tougher chevron lugs at the toe and heel bite confidently into dirt during hike-a-bike pushes. A cushioned EVA midsole-similar to what you'd find in running shoes-smooths out chatter and supports comfort long after the ride rolls into the evening.
