"Men's ASICS® GEL-Nimbus 27: If you log serious miles and want a neutral running shoe that keeps your feet feeling fresh from the first step to the last, the Men's ASICS GEL-Nimbus 27 is worth a close look. This is ASICS' most cushioned shoe to date, built around a max-cushion ride that absorbs impact and stays soft across long distances. This shoe has a grounded, stable feel without weighing down your stride - making it a strong choice for daily training runs and long road miles alike. The GEL-Nimbus 27 layers several technologies to back up that cushioned ride. FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO foam in the midsole keeps the landing soft while maintaining a lightweight feel underfoot. PureGEL™ technology at the heel absorbs impact for a smoother footstrike, and the OrthoLite™ X-55 sockliner adds a responsive, supportive base inside the shoe. The engineered jacquard mesh upper wraps the foot securely while allowing airflow to move through - so your feet stay comfortable even when the miles add up. The HYBRID ASICSGRIP™ outsole rounds things out with reliable traction and long-term durability on the road. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on for a long easy run and noticed right away how soft the landing felt - especially in the heel. By mile ten, my legs weren't feeling beat up the way they sometimes do in a firmer shoe. If you're someone who runs a lot of miles and wants cushioning that actually holds up, these are worth trying."" - Dave, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, San Diego, CAWho It's Best ForIf you're a neutral runner who prioritizes cushioning for long runs, high-mileage training weeks, or days when your legs need a break, the GEL-Nimbus 27 is a natural fit.
