"Women's Saucony® Xodus Ultra 4: The Women's Saucony Xodus Ultra 4 is a max-cushion trail running shoe built for neutral runners who want serious protection and grip on long, demanding runs. If your routes take you over rocky terrain, rooted singletrack, or anything that qualifies as genuinely rugged, this is the shoe that keeps you moving comfortably mile after mile. At 9.9 ounces with a 6mm heel-to-toe drop, it sits in that range where you get real cushioning underfoot without feeling like you're running in something heavy or clunky. The ripstop-engineered mesh upper holds up to tough terrain while still letting the foot breathe - a combination that matters when you're deep into a long trail run. The PWRRUN PB midsole delivers a soft, responsive feel underfoot, and the PWRRUN Chassis adds structure to the ride so the shoe doesn't feel unstable when the ground gets uneven. Underneath, the Vibram® Megagrip outsole grips across a wide range of surfaces - wet rock, loose dirt, rooted paths - so you can focus on the run instead of your footing. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put these on for a longer trail run with a lot of elevation change and rocky sections, and what stood out was how cushioned they felt without making me feel disconnected from the trail. The Vibram outsole really grips - I didn't have a single sketchy moment on wet rock. These are a solid pick if you're logging serious miles on technical terrain."" - Sawyer, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Wilmette ILWho It's Best ForIf you're a neutral runner who spends time on technical trails and wants max cushioning without sacrificing traction or durability, the Xodus Ultra 4 is worth a serious look.
