"Men's Mizuno® Wave Prophecy 14: The Wave Prophecy 14 is a stability running shoe built for men who want serious cushioning and a supportive ride on every run. The MIZUNO WAVE Plate works across the full length of the midsole, dispersing impact energy over a broader area to create a stable platform underfoot - so each stride feels controlled without feeling stiff. If you log consistent miles and want a shoe that holds up run after run, this one is worth a close look. The jacquard mesh upper keeps the fit structured and breathable, while the gusseted tongue wraps the foot securely without creating pressure points. The X10 outsole uses durable carbon rubber across high-wear zones, which means the shoe holds up longer than a standard rubber outsole would. An 8 mm drop gives the ride a natural feel that works well for a wide range of running styles. The shoe is also made with recycled materials, so it carries a lighter environmental footprint without compromising on performance. Sizing runs up half, so keep that in mind when selecting your size. Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I put customers in the Wave Prophecy when they want that cushioned, stable feel but don't want a shoe that feels bulky. The WAVE Plate really does make a difference - you can feel how it spreads out the impact instead of just absorbing it in one spot. The gusseted tongue is a small detail that a lot of people notice once they lace up."" - Dave, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, San Diego, CAWho It's Best ForIf you're a male runner who wants stability and cushioning in a road running shoe that can handle regular mileage, the Wave Prophecy 14 is a strong option.
