The Gen 4 Micro Bastard 6.5mm variant from American Precision Arms is a high-performance, compact muzzle brake engineered for precision rifles using 6.5mm cartridges (.264" bullet diameter or smaller). With its 1/2×28 threading and nitrided steel construction, this brake offers durability and a streamlined profile suitable for sporter or heavy sporter barrels. At approximately 0.850" OD, 2.4" length, and 2.3oz weight, it delivers excellent recoil reduction without undue bulk. The self-timing nut installation removes the need for shims or crush washers, while the Gen4's tuned “Bastard” ports and calibrated top port system deliver flatter shooting, reduced muzzle rise, and a softer perceived recoil impulse. Ideal for a 6.5mm hunting or target rifle where every inch and ounce counts. American Precision Arms Gen 4 Micro Bastard 1/2x28 6.5mm Nitrided Self Timing Muzzle Brake G4M1265N
