The Gen 4 Micro Bastard from American Precision Arms is a high-performance self-timing muzzle brake built for precision and minimal form-factor. In stainless steel with 1/2-28 threading it’s optimized for .22 caliber or small-conversion rifles, giving you serious recoil mitigation in a compact ~2.4" form (˜2.3oz) that won’t overload sporter-weight barrels. The refined “Bastard” port geometry and internal manifold reduce recoil while smoothing out the impulse and lowering perceived concussion. What sets the Gen 4 apart is the addition of tunable top ports (U. R.P. system) enabling you to fine-tune the gas flow and muzzle-rise behavior, making for flatter, more stable shots. With the self-timing nut system you skip crush washers or shims and get a clean, repeatable installation on barrels .600"-.850" in diameter. Ideal for hunters or precision shooters who demand effectiveness and lightweight construction without sacrificing control.
