The Geissele URG-I Upper 14.5-inch configuration is a near-clone of the USMC's URG-I upper receiver group — built to the same specifications and assembled with the same Geissele-quality components that make the military version the standard for serious operational use. For shooters who want a complete URG-I 14.5 upper that replicates the current USMC configuration in Desert Dirt Color, this is the most authentic civilian-available version of that setup. The 14.5 URG-I government profile barrel is cold hammer forged with a 1:7-inch twist rate and finished in DDC for both durability and color-matched aesthetics across the complete build. The barrel is equipped with a pinned-and-welded muzzle device for legal compliance — the correct configuration for a 14.5-inch barrel that meets overall length requirements without a suppressor or additional components. The mid-length gas system pairs with a Super Compact Gas Block for optimized reliability and recoil management across a wide range of ammunition. The Geissele URG-I Reliability Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group delivers the same consistent performance under demanding conditions that makes the REBCG the standard in Geissele's complete builds — Nanoweapon coating, properly staked and chrome-lined gas key, and a Stressproof Bolt machined from Carpenter 158+ barstock. The 13.5-inch MK16 Super Modular Rail in M-LOK gives you extensive accessory mounting real estate in a lightweight, rugged profile that keeps the overall build balanced and maneuverable. The URG-I Upper for sale here is constructed from 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type 3 hardcoat anodized finish for outstanding strength and corrosion resistance. The Geissele Airborne Charging Handle completes the package in matching DDC.
