The Geissele Super Duty 5.56 NATO 14.5" 1:7" CHF Bbl Black Stripped Upper Receiver w/13.5" M-LOK MK16 SMR 08-246B carries the same craftsmanship running through Geissele's entire lineup, built around a rail-to-receiver connection that doesn't loosen with use. A Super Duty upper mates to the 13.5" MK16 rail through Geissele's center aligning tab, eliminating any chance of rail rotation, the kind of detail that matters once a rifle's seen real round counts. M-LOK slots line the rail at the 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions for mounting lights, grips, or other accessories, while a full 12 o'clock picatinny rail handles optics and anything else needing a true 1913 interface. This Geissele Super Duty upper 14.5 is built on the same rail family fielded by USASOC, not a scaled-down civilian variant. The barrel is 14.5", cold hammer forged and chrome lined with a 1:7 twist, finished in manganese phosphate for durability that outlasts a standard coating. It's precision machined at Geissele's North Wales, PA facility using materials selected specifically for the job. One thing worth knowing before ordering: at 14.5", this barrel falls under NFA short-barreled rifle regulations, and registration with a tax stamp is required if it's assembled into a complete rifle configuration. As a Geissele Stripped upper, BCG, charging handle, and muzzle device selection are left entirely to the builder, giving full control over the final configuration.
