Since the unit isn’t triggered by a muzzle blast, it can pick up on projectiles from firearms with suppressors, muzzle breaks, compensators, and other muzzle devices. The Rangecraft Velocity Pro can measure projectile velocity between 65 fps and 5000 fps, allowing users to measure the velocity of a massive assortment of projectiles.
