The Blast Shroud mounts over existing Dead Air muzzle devices (or can thread on directly with DA471). It diverts the bright flash and annoying concussion forward of the muzzle, creating a much more pleasant shooting environment for the operator and everyone around him. Gone are the days of cursing and lethal stares by those shooting nearby. MUZZLE EXTENSIONOn Short-Barrels, the Dead Air Blast Shroud places the muzzle further away from the shooter’s support hand, thus reducing the chance of a hand covering the muzzle.
