The Geissele SGB Black Super Gas Block 05-807B is a low-profile gas block designed for compatible AR-15 and AR-10 platforms with a .750-inch gas block journal. Its compact profile allows it to fit beneath most free-floating handguards, while the 17-4 precipitation-hardening stainless steel construction provides a durable foundation for the assembly. The Geissele Super Gas Block is finished in black nitride, adding corrosion resistance and a durable surface treatment. The investment-cast construction is machined to the required dimensions for proper fit and alignment with the barrel and gas system. Installation can be completed using either the included set screws or Geissele's pinned installation method. The latter uses a coil pin to secure the gas block to the barrel. An additional stainless steel alignment pin is included for use with compatible cold hammer-forged barrels, along with a gas tube pin and two set screws. The Geissele SGB Black Super Gas Block measures approximately 0.997 inches in length, 1.043 inches in width, and 1.411 inches in height, with a listed weight of approximately 1.6 ounces. Its low-profile dimensions make it well suited to applications where the gas block needs to remain beneath a free-floating rail. As part of the Geissele Automatics parts lineup, this Geissele Gas Block is supplied with the hardware needed for its available installation configurations. The .750-inch journal specification makes it suitable for compatible AR-platform barrels using that gas block diameter. The combination of 17-4 stainless steel construction, black nitride finish, low-profile dimensions, and multiple installation options gives this gas block a straightforward configuration for compatible builds.
