Product DescriptionThe Magpul Industries Zhukov-U Hand Guard is a shortened, modernized upgrade for AK-47 and AK-74 pattern rifles. Measuring approximately 1.5 inches shorter than the standard Zhukov handguard, it is optimized for shorter barrels and pistols while keeping full-length rifles lively. A full-length aluminum chassis provides strength and heat mitigation, while a durable injection-molded polymer exterior delivers comfortable ergonomics. The Zhukov-U includes M-LOK slots for direct accessory mounting and a vented gas tube cover, accepts the standard AK cleaning rod, and remains fully compatible with the UltiMAK gas tube rail. Installation requires removal of the factory handguard retainer. Made in the USA and counts as one 922(r) compliance part.Product Highlights Shorter Zhukov-U design for AK rifles and pistols; lively handling on full-length rifles Full-length aluminum chassis with polymer outer handguard for strength and comfort M-LOK slots for lights, grips, and rail sections; vented gas tube cover Accepts standard AK cleaning rod; compatible with UltiMAK gas tube rail Designed to fit AK-47/AK-74 rifles with standard-length gas systems; made in USA Specs Color: Plum Compatibility: AK-47/AK-74 rifles with standard-length gas systems; optimized for short-barrel rifles such as AK-102, AK-104, and AK-105 Overall Length: 10.2 in Weight: 15.1 oz Material: Polymer outer handguard with full-length aluminum chassis Mounting: M-LOK slots; UltiMAK compatible Installation: Requires removal of handguard retainer; accepts standard AK cleaning rod Country of Manufacture: USA UPC: 840815117001 MPN: MAG680-PLM Brand: Magpul Industries Disclaimer: We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date product descriptions, specifications, and images; however, errors or omissions may occasionally occur.
