This Insert together with the Cold trap can then be used for thawing frozen samples. Place ice on the glass insert and place the sample collection tube with the syringe in the water bath. Then add the sample and put the lid on. The syringe handle can then be removed. Place the lid on the water bath with the glass insert slid in from the outside. One insert is required per set.
