BrandTech Sample Containers with Screw Caps PFA BrandTech. The low surface porosity of these sample containers makes them ideal for ICP-MS analysis. The containers and screw caps are made of PFA (perfluoroalkoxy copolymer) a fluoropolymer with excellent chemical resistance. Their surfaces are much less porous than PTFE making them highly cleanable and less susceptible to sample contamination by memory effect from prior samples. Additionally the surfaces are less porus than PTFE making it impossible for any sample to escape a sample container. This makes the containers suitable for use in trace analysis work as well as for ICP-MS and other applications requiring a small sample size. Additionally they are ideal for standards as they provide excellent stability and they are manufactured without metal catalysts. This product meets the OIML Spec for Containers with Plastic Screw Caps.
