The addition of copper particles in the paraffinic base oils creates a protective layer between two surfaces, and this grease is incredibly resistant to frictional corrosion, oxidation, and will even work effectively in extreme temperatures between from -40 degC (-40deg F) to temperatures well above 280 degC (536deg F).
