Loctite 243 is a medium strength, medium viscosity threadlocking compound used for metal thread sizes from 1.5mm to 36mm in diameter. "Blue" or "Medium" is used commonly in applications where metal to metal fixture points are found, and can be removed with ease. 243 specifically features an oil-resistant chemical makeup, allowing bolts and nuts to use 243 without being perfectly clean. Fixture drying times (depending on materials) are up to 20 minutes at maximum. Full cure is 24 hours.
