Die sets for straight wall cases are typically comprised of three dies, as it is not possible to resize the entire case and expand the neck for proper bullet fit in one step. The full-length (FL) resizing die includes a decapping rod assembly to remove the spent primer. The expander die (EXP) incorporates a neck expanding plug, which ensures the correct neck diameter for proper bullet seating. The seating die (ST) features a bullet guide, a built-in crimp ring and the appropriate seating plug to accurately position and secure the bullet.
