The RE5F is a meticulously engineered 9-position receiver extension, designed to seamlessly integrate with Vltor's renowned A5 system. Born from a collaboration with Sons of Liberty Gun Works (SOLGW), the RE5F mirrors the exceptional quality of the Loyal 9 A5 RE, distinguished only by the unique engravings of the respective brands. Forward Controls has enhanced the design with thoughtful features such as additional drain holes and softened edges, ensuring optimal performance and comfort. This receiver extension is crafted for functionality and durability, making it an ideal choice for serious users who prioritize performance over aesthetics. The RE5F is versatile, compatible with both .308 Cal AR and Vltor's A5 system. For AR-15/M16 applications, it requires the use of Vltor A5 or A5-compatible buffers and rifle length recoil springs, such as Vltor's A5 spring or Sprinco's Green spring. Constructed from impact-extruded 7075 aluminum with rolled threads, the RE5F boasts a mil-spec body diameter, ensuring compatibility with all mil-spec carbine stocks. The interior features a dry film lubricant and the additional drain holes facilitate rapid water drainage, enhancing reliability in adverse conditions. The RE5F is a robust, purpose-built component, designed to meet the demands of rigorous use.
