Product Description

Introducing the forward Controls Design ejection-port cover (EPC), a meticulously crafted enhancement for firearms that combines precision engineering with user-centric design. Initially, the creation of an ejection-port cover was not prioritized, but once desired features were identified, the EPC became a passion project. Engineered based on TDP dimensions, the EPC incorporates thoughtful Forward Control touches. It is billet machined from high-strength 7075 aluminum and finished with a hardcoat type III anodization, ensuring durability and resilience in demanding conditions. A standout feature of the EPC is the inclusion of two strategically placed "tabs" flanking the cutout for the port cover spring. These tabs allow the EPC to rest at a greater angle when open, creating more space between the port cover and the lower receiver. This design facilitates easier access, enabling users to effortlessly swing the cover up or close it with a simple motion. Additionally, the EPC features a shallow circular depression on its side, providing tactile feedback to the user's finger during operation. Unlike flat surfaces that offer no differentiation or traction, this textured area enhances grip and control, ensuring a seamless user experience. At Forward Controls Design, attention to detail is parabipod. The EPC's exterior is treated as a control surface, where flat surfaces are used judiciously to enhance functionality. Experience the perfect blend of form and function with the forward Controls Design ejection-port cover, where every feature is designed with the user in mind.
