The BRN-180 series of bufferless upper receivers pays tribute to the classic AR-180/AR-18 design, featuring a distinctive right-side offset and reciprocating charging handle. While this traditional style appeals to enthusiasts seeking authenticity, many users desire a more contemporary solution. A3 Industries addresses this demand with a range of innovative options. For those who appreciate the reciprocating handle but seek enhanced ergonomics, two upgraded handles are available, providing a more comfortable grip and easy installation in just 10 minutes. For users desiring a cutting-edge upgrade, a non-reciprocating charging handle is the perfect choice. This advanced modification includes a forward-mounted guide rail and a stationary handle, ensuring it remains fixed during operation. The upgrade process is straightforward - replace the existing charging handle with a robust steel bolt adapter, attach the guide to the rail and secure the handle. This transformation can be completed in just 15 minutes. Crafted with precision, the high-tolerance bolt adapters are made from durable 4140 steel, while the low-profile adapter is the only component that moves with the bolt. The charging handle is securely latched on the guide using a tensioned ball detent, ensuring stability and reliability. All components are expertly machined from 7075 aluminum and finished with a hard anodized coating, offering superior durability and performance.
